Frequently Asked Questions
Planning trips and starting something new often bring up questions. This page is here to offer clarity around how Wild Soul works, what support looks like, and what you can expect along the way.
If your question isn’t answered here, reaching out is always welcome. Sometimes the first step is simply asking.
Who is Wild Soul for?
Wild Soul is for people who want to explore nature and not feel rushed, pressured, or lost in the planning process. Many clients are beginners or early explorers, while others have experience and want a more thoughtful, well paced approach to trips and the outdoors.
What kinds of trips do you help plan?
Wild Soul specializes in outdoor and nature based trips, with a strong focus on national parks like Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite, and Assateague Island. Planning can include park visits, camping trips, scenic road trips, or nature focused travel that prioritizes experience over checklists.
Do I need outdoor experience to work with you?
No. Experience is not a requirement. Planning support is tailored to your comfort level, interests, and goals. Whether this is your first time visiting a park or you’ve been before and want a smoother experience, the process meets you where you are.
What does trip planning include?
Trip planning typically includes helping you narrow your focus, building a realistic itinerary, understanding park layouts, timing, and making decisions that support a comfortable, enjoyable experience. The goal is to reduce decision fatigue and help you feel prepared without over planning.
Will you book reservations or make purchases for me?
Wild Soul does not book accommodations, permits, or transportation directly. Instead, you’ll receive clear guidance and recommendations so you can make bookings confidently on your own, knowing what to prioritize and why.
How long does the planning process take?
Most trip plans are completed within one to two weeks, depending on complexity and responsiveness. You’ll always have a clear sense of next steps and timing once the process begins.
What if I’m not sure what I want yet?
That’s completely okay. Many people reach out with ideas rather than fully formed plans. Part of the process is helping you clarify what kind of experience you’re actually looking for and shaping a trip around that.
How much does trip planning cost?
Outdoor trip planning is offered at a flat rate of $125 per trip plan. This keeps pricing clear and straightforward, without surprise fees or upsells.
How do I get started?
The first step is filling out the trip planning intake form. This helps gather the information needed to create a plan that fits your goals and comfort level. From there, you’ll be guided through the next steps.
What if I just have a question?
You don’t need to commit to a service to ask a question. If something is holding you back or you’re unsure where to start, reaching out is always welcome. Sometimes a single answer is enough to create momentum. Let’s chat!
